As a postpartum doula, I offer in-person support to families in the weeks and months following childbirth in Cave Junction, OR and surrounding areas. Postpartum visits last up to 4 hours to accommodate birth story processing, newborn care support, meal-prep and light housekeeping.

Birth Planning

As a doula, I can help you create a birth plan that reflects your desires in a way that will be easy for your birth team to respect and follow. This is included in all doula packages, or you can select this as a standalone service.

Virtual Care

For families outside of Southern Oregon (or for local families who prefer this option), I offer virtual doula care. Virtual doula care encompasses intellectual, emotional, and spiritual support at any point in the childbearing journey (fertility, preconception, pregnancy, labor and postpartum). There are obvious physical limitations to this option.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer payment plans or a sliding scale?

Yes, I offer payment plans and a sliding scale for services. I have never turned a client down strictly for an inability to pay. Contact me if you really want my support and we can work out a plan that fits your budget.

Do you support hospital births?

I believe home is the best place for most births and primarily support home-birthing families. However, if you have a medical reason for having a hospital-based birth or if you decide to transport to the hospital in the course of your labor, I will support you through that and offer the best help I can in navigating those medical institutions to have the best possible experience.

What’s your doula style?

In pregnancy, I will be as a fun, chatty sister who loves going in-depth into all the things happening in your pregnancy.

At the birth, I will be as a quiet, respectful attendant who honors the miracle of the moment.

Postpartum, I will be a hands-on and generous helper, eager to ease the challenges of nurturing a new baby.
